Abstract

In patient with edentulism in the posterior part of mandible. variable combined methods as bone grafting, splitting technique, inferior alveolar nerve repostioning, etc. to achieve proper fixture placement can be available. The advantages of inferior alveolar nerve repositioning such as installation of longer fixture, functional occlusal force distribution, stability of prothesis make its method feasible among the combined methods although neurosensory dysfunction remains for longer periods. For better results a vestibuloplasty with free palatal mucosal graft which provides the keratinized, attached mucosa around implants can be performed on abutment connection second surgery. We have treated a patient with long fixture installation after repositioning of both inferior alveolar nerves and free palatal mucosa graft with vestibuloplasty. The patient¢¥s implant supported prothesis was finally completed with spark erosion technique which is superior to other abutment-prothesis furnace methods.
